1997, Gramercy Art Fair, NYC
An installation/performance lasting for 4 days and nights for which I took a motorcycle as my lover and made sculptural objects and drawings that also occupied the hotel room. The objects were created under the premise that they would commonly exist if I were actually living in a world where humans and machines commonly had sex. There was also a continuous soundtrack to the performance that was a looped 7-minute dialogue between the motorcycle and myself. I lipsynched to my voice and the motorcycle blinked its lights to its "voice".
