For one hour the normal exhibition lights in the museum were turned off and the entire museum was lit with forensic UV light fixtures that allow human semen ejaculate to be visible to the eye. When in production, semen was discovered in the museum, but I also did some additional “curating” and carefully placed, throughout the museum, more semen that was later revealed to the audience who were allowed to walk through the museum for one hour by UV light after viewing a video, also made for the Warhol, titled “Dawson”. As a soundtrack to the piece I hired actors to perform select dialogues transcribed from Andy Warhol’s audiotapes. This sound element of the performance was completely integrated into the natural movement of the audience throughout the museum and it was not apparent to the audience that it was rehearsed or memorized dialogue but was rather “overheard” as general crowd conversation.
